I Just Have to Brag on Ms. Vicky

Miss Vicky is one of those clients who reminds us of why we do what we do. I have been working with her for several months. Before me she had another agent she had been working with for several months. She and I had a heart-to-heart conversation about what she was looking for in a home, what she would except, or settle for, and what she would absolutely not settle for. She had a few must haves, one of those was being a garage. She had a strict budget that barely left room to be able to afford a house with a garage. We scoured the Internet for months looking for the perfect home for her. She kept telling me that she had faith that God would provide her the home that she needed in his timing. After several months, I got word that a house was going to come on the market that was going to meet her wishes perfectly. It even had one thing that was on her like to have a list but not a deal killer. This was a screened in porch. we met at this particular house one afternoon when she got off work, and she absolutely fell in love with it. We put in an offer the seller excepted it. The listing agent told the seller of Miss Vickie story of how she had been scrapping and saving and watching and praying for a little over a year. The seller was touched by her story And excepted her offer. We begin the process toward closing. It was a delightful process with Miss Vicky, that’s not always sold with every buyer. Miss Vicky was a delight to work with. She had worked hard to get her finances in order, to get her life in order, and be able to make herself realize the American dream of homeownership. At closing, a family member, surprised her with flowers and balloons. There were lots of hugs and tears at the closing table from the buyer and the seller. Everyone was happy with this transaction. And Miss Vicky was an absolute delight to work with.
